Bayer Schering Pharma history

Bayer Schering Pharma looks back on a rich past tradition within both Bayer and Schering.

Bayer AG acquired Schering AG in 2006, and since then all activities related to prescription drugs have been co-ordinated under the name of Bayer Schering Pharma. Marketing, selling, developing and manufacturing of prescription drugs in Finland have been consolidated under this same name as of April 1, 2007.
